Welcome to our school website! With the support of the PTA we have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. Check back soon for new updates!
We will be starting a new parent and toddler group at our school on Tuesday 8th November. This group will run every Tuesday from 1.30pm - 3pm. Please feel free to pop along, for your children to explore and join in activities. It could also be a great opportunity for parents to be able to chat and build friendships with other parents
Thank you 😊
Dear parent/carer
Free school meals during holiday periods - Please be advised that Welsh Government will continue to fund free school meal holiday provision until the end of the current financial year, as part of a wider package of support to help families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis. No application is necessary. Eligible families will continue to receive BACS payments direct to their bank accounts for the holiday periods; autumn half term week, the two-week Christmas holiday, as well as the spring half term (it will not cover Easter holidays as they fall in the next financial year). Please note that this provision relates to learners eligible for Free School Meals and not Universal primary Free School Meals.
Primary Breakfast Club Registration
We are pleased to confirm that there will be no restrictions on the number of breakfast club places offered for the academic year September 2022 to July 2023.
Please use the link below to register your child/ren for the Primary Breakfast Club Service; the registration form will open on Monday 18th July and remain open until Sunday 7th August (this allows administrative processes to take place before the start of term).

📢As a school, we understand the cost of living is majorly increasing daily and know that some of our families may be struggling.
💙I just want you all to know that if you do need support, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do everything I can to support you. Everything will be kept completely confidential so you do not need to be alone in your struggle.
🥰We are sometimes very proud people, with many not liking to admit that they may struggle, but seeking help is important in order for problems to be supported.
⭐If you are not personally struggling but do have concerns about another family struggling and need support please contact me ❤

Physical punishment of children is now illegal in Wales. Children have the same protection from assault as adults. This is to protect children and their rights.

School Punctuality
Lateness is becoming a big problem within our school at the moment.
Many children are missing core chunks of their learning (Sounds, reading, literacy communication etc) due to 15/20 minutes of arriving late persistently.
This not only disrupts learning for your child but also other children in the class where staff members need to leave class to bring your child into class.
School starts at 8.45am so children should be in the yard BEFORE this time in order to enter school when the bell rings at 8.45am.
We are starting to see a progress gap developing between children who are here on time daily (learning new sounds or developing further reading skills by reading complex texts) and those who miss even the start of the day by 5/10 minutes.
We are asking all parents to try their hardest where possible to get their children in to school on time moving forward in order for this gap not to widen further.
If you need support in any way, please contact us in school.
Thank you,
Mrs Powell & Miss Morris
