Red Nose Day is on Friday 18th March. The school council have decided for everyone to wear something red (this can be anything eg. clothing, bow, socks etc). They would also like everyone to do something funny to show the class; eg. bring in a joke to tell. We will have lots of fun in school as well as raising awareness of the needs of others.
On Wednesday 23rd March there is a National Day of Reflection organised by Marie Curie. On this day we would like to invite the children to wear something blue or yellow and we will be reflecting on the needs of others particularly the people in Ukraine. As it is a day of reflection we would like all children to create a poster, for a display, showing all things they are thankful for in their lives at the moment (people, objects, activities etc.). You can use photos, drawings, writing, pic collage etc.
*Any donations on either of the days will be gratefully received and we will be sending it to support people fleeing Ukraine*.
